Programs

The Rancho Viejo School offers an integrated, individualized, academically challenging program designed to meet the developmental needs of children from 18 months through middle school. Our students come from all over the world and represent a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. Because our program is tailored to the individual developmental needs of each child, children thrive as they learn to live and work together in our community.

Rancho Viejo places students in multi-age classrooms that span approximately three years. These multi-age groupings allow teachers to work with their students for more than one year, getting to know their individual needs and encouraging joyful learning by introducing concepts at developmentally appropriate times.

In addition, multi-age groupings create a nurturing, home-like atmosphere where younger children are motivated to move ahead by watching the older children while older children reinforce their own learning by helping the younger ones. Graduates of Rancho Viejo Montessori School have gone on to excel at private, parochial and public high schools. Parents are welcomed as partners in the ongoing process of preparing their children for life.
